About me 

Sue Clark-Hypnotherapist-Psychotherapist-Counsellor

I have always been fascinated with human behaviour, and gained immense satisfaction and enjoyment working with people. In 1993 I decided that I would like to do voluntary work in the local community, and then with study and training I achieved a Professional Qualification of a Diploma in Counselling In 1999. I then decided to study for a Diploma in Social Work at Anglia Polytechnic University and graduated in 2003, working across both the statutory & voluntary sector until 2007, when I decided on a new career path and commenced training to become a professional clinical hypnotherapist / psychotherapist. Qualifying in 2012 I then set up my own practice in Gidea Park, covering Romford, Hornchurch, Dagenham and surrounding areas.


Continued professional development has included:


  • The latest psychotherapeutic intervention, Brain Working Recursive Therapy (BWRT) 2015, achieving Advanced Practitioner Level 1 and 2.


  • Advanced Practitioner status in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) 2024.

My diplomas decided that working as a registered Hypnotherapist-Psychotherapist-Counsellor was the way forward, having seen the benefits that had been gained by clients, family and friends. I trained at the Essex Institute of Hypnotherapy, with one of the UK's leading hypnotherapist and highly respected author Terrence Watts, then went on to develop BWRT, which is now a leading psychological model, and i gained the following qualifications:
